Social Media Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy supplements the general 10X English Privacy Policy (10xenglish.edu.vn/en/chinh-sach-bao-mat) and Terms of Use (10xenglish.edu.vn/en/dieu-khoan-su-dung).

2. Data we collect

When you message, comment on or otherwise interact with our Pages, we receive the following from Meta Platforms:

• Public profile information: display name and profile picture.
• Page-scoped ID: an identifier issued by Meta that is meaningful only to the Page you messaged, not your Facebook account ID.
• The content and time of the messages and comments you send to the Page.
• Attachments you send: images, videos, audio and documents.
• Details you choose to share in the conversation, such as your name, phone number, email, learning needs and preferred branch.

We do not access your password, friend list, your conversations with other people, or any data beyond what you send to our Pages.

3. How we use it

We use this data only to:

• Answer your questions and advise on courses and schedules at your request.
• Support students and handle feedback and complaints.
• Contact you by phone or email when you have provided those details.
• Keep a conversation history so the next staff member helping you does not have to start over.
• Produce aggregated internal statistics (message volume, response time) to improve our service.

We only message you within conversations you started and in line with Meta's messaging policies. We do not use this data for automated decisions that significantly affect you.

4. Storage and security

• Data is stored in our internal management system (ERP) on servers the company controls.
• Only authorized consulting, customer care and system administration staff can access it, on a need-to-know basis.
• Connections are encrypted (HTTPS); system accounts are protected by passwords and role-based permissions; Meta access tokens are stored as secrets and never shared.
• Retention: conversation data is kept for up to 24 months after your last interaction, longer if you become a student and the data is needed to manage your studies, or where required by law. After that it is deleted or anonymized.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. Data is disclosed only to:

• Infrastructure providers (servers, cloud storage) processing it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, who may not use it for their own purposes.
• Competent authorities, as required by Vietnamese law.

Data you send through Facebook, Messenger and Threads is also processed by Meta under the Meta Privacy Policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy).

6. Your rights and data deletion

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop contacting you.

How to request deletion

• Step 1: Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion request", including your Facebook name and the Page you messaged, or send "Delete my data" directly to that Page.
• Step 2: We acknowledge your request within 3 business days.
• Step 3: Your conversation data and related information are deleted from our systems within 30 days, and we confirm when this is done.

Some records may be retained where required by law (for example payment records and invoices). Deleting data from our systems does not delete messages in your own Facebook account; you can delete the conversation in Messenger yourself.
